SPORTS EXPO is located at THE FOREST which is the Sai Yee Street reconstruction project of the URA in Mong Kok. It is a sports-themed interactive information hub.

It aims to promote Hong Kong local sports and presents the Hong Kong various sports development innovatively and interactively.

Visitors can experience a wide range of sports activities through the AV system, virtual reality (VR) and interactive equipment. Alpha-IoT is honored to provide AV system design, installation, and maintenance services for the SPORTS EXPO. The SPORTS EXPO is divided into different zones to introduce sports to the public.

Do you want to have a basketball training by professional basketball players? In the LED Arena, a P4.81 Floor LED, 4K enhancement projectors and motion sensor form a 4-side interactive area for you to enjoy a step by step teaching in the virtual basketball court. The motion-tracking technology & gesture interaction will bring visitors a funny and impressive experience. We also provided 4 sets of 47” video wall displays with motion sensor and 49” interactive touch display to create an interactive game & photobooth. In this zone, visitors can enjoy some motion-sensing sports games, such as table tennis, beach volleyball, and rugby.

Virtual Reality (VR) sports game zone has been designed by Alpha-IoT as well. Visitors play windsurfing or ride horses virtually in this area. SPORTS EXPO designed to publicize Hong Kong sports and athletes. Interactive Sports Library and Sports Star Exhibits Area mainly present the history and information of the sport to the visitors. Alpha-IoT installed 2 sets of the interactive touch display and 6 sets of 12.9” tablets in these zones. We are honored to participate in URA's redevelopment project to witness community space re-entering service and becoming more diverse.
